Finally....

After some thought and plenty of requests from close friends and family, I've decided to join world of people who publish their thoughts for all the world to see. The idea of this really intimidates me, but for some reason in my boredom this evening the courage to finally accept this challenge was given to me and I decided to create this blog before I changed my mind.



What can you, my enthralled reader, expect from this venture? Well, a little of this and a little of that. Mostly updates on what's going on in my life and my thoughts and views on anything and everything.



The title of this blog is very dear to my heart. A few years ago someone told me a little story about Fact, Faith and Feeling and it has really stuck with me and been a comfort in times of questioning and confusion. To end this first I would like to share that story (or at least a summary of it reconstructed from my memory).



Fact, Faith, and Feeling



One day Fact, Faith, and Feeling were walking, in a row, on top of a high wall. Suddenly there was a strong wind and Feeling lost his balance and fell off the wall. As Feeling was falling he called out to Faith for help. Faith turned, taking his eyes off of Fact, to see what was going on. This caused Faith to loose his balance and fall, as well, and Fact was left alone.



This story is a sad, but true commentary on the state of faith in our world today. I pray everyday that God will give me the grace I need to live the lesson learned from this story.
